Work in Uganda includes supporting the reduction in the rise of HIV/AIDS among the young people through special community outreach work which teaches about the dangers of the disease. Young people are encouraged and supported to study and work with orphans from the age of one through the provision of funding to the families of care takers. The Government is responsible for the protection of children and youth which involves participatory planning processes in local governments.

Formal education and training for professionals in the field of child and youth care is available and is conducted by Higher education institutions.

Ugandan members are interested in project partnerships and collaborations.  Please contact the FICE Office for further details.
