American youth workers work with children and young people across all settings, including education, foster care, juvenile justice, after-school clubs, the YMCA, etc.
Professional education is available in the form of undergraduate degrees in Child and Youth Care, as are post-graduate degrees also. Private training also helps to support the ongoing education of those in the field.
US members are interested in a variety of projects, including publications and collaborations that will help to enhance the sector. Please contact the FICE Office for further details.
