Prof. Laura Santos

​

Laura Santos is a Portuguese clinical and justice psychologist with professional experience in residential care settings for children and youth, as well as in the supervision and training of professionals working in educational and social care contexts. As a researcher, she has collaborated on funded projects involving several Portuguese universities. Her main research interests focus on improving the quality of out-of-home care, promoting and protecting caregivers’ mental health, and supporting safe transitions from residential care to adulthood among care leavers.

She is currently an Invited Professor at the University of Coimbra Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and an integrated member of the Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive and Behavioral Intervention (CINEICC).
