Project Quality4Care
FICE Bulgaria an organization that provides training for adults, working in the field of social sevices for children and adults. In order to continue to increase the quality of the provided training, the association needs to increase its expertise and broaden the number of topics continuously. Through its activities FICE-Bulgaria contributes to improving the quality of life of the children and adults, who are clients of different social services. The topic about the quality of social services is very relevant at the moment, because of the acceptance of the new Law on social services in 2019 (entered into force in 2020). According to it, every social service is obliged to develop and implement its own quality management program. The topic is currently either not studied or studied to a very low extent in university programs for future social service managers, social workers, educators,pedagogues, etc. Continuous training on the topic is not available in Bulgaria. In order to meet the requirements of the new law, many professionals will need to increase their capacity in the field of the quality of social services.
FICE-Bulgaria will implement project "QUALITY 4 CARE", №2020-1-BG01-KA104-078553, funded by the Erasmus + Program of the EU.
The partner in this project is IKJ Institut für Kinder- und Jugendhilfe gGmbH (Institute for child and youth care services), Mainz, Germany, an organization, specialized in the development of software and other quality management solutions for social services.
The aim of this project is increasing the capacity of FICE-Bulgaria to provide trainings for adults on the topic of quality in social services to the professionals working in the field.
The objectives are as follows:
To increase the knowledge, skills and competences of the trainers of FICE-Bulgaria in order to be able to provide training on the topic of quality of social services.
To increase the foreign language skills of the trainers of FICE-Bulgaria.
To increase the level of internationalization of the Association.
Within the course of the project, 2 trainers from the team of FICE Bulgaria will be trained by the partner organization. The topic of the training is “Quality of social services - theory and practice. Development of “a quality management program for social services“. As a result of this project the two trainers will be will be able to provide training on the topic of the quality of social services to the Bulgarian child and youth care professionals. Therefore, an increased number of professionals will enhance their knowledge, skills and competences, related to quality management in social services, as a result of the trainings, provided by FICE-Bulgaria.
