Working with those in the 0-18 age group who are in alternative care, care leavers, children with insufficient parental care and at-risk children, the respondents employ therapeutic parenting, quality family-based foster care and support to families at risk. The current focus of the respondent's organization is family support, evaluating children’s needs; increasing the level of knowledge on trauma related issues of children; potential ways/methods of help.
Various possibilities for formal training and different qualifications are available, including training provided by vocational education bodies. The most commonly held qualifications are undergraduate, diploma and certificates.
