The respondent from Denmark works in a Social Supervision unit, where the predominantly used methodology is quality assessment.

Formal training for child and youth care professionals is available and is provided by government bodies. Various qualifications are available with the most desirable being the Bachelor of Pedagogy. The most commonly held are Bachelor and Master in Pedagogy or Social work.
