Work in Bulgaria is diverse with some organizations providing trainings, consultations and supervision while others lobby and advocate for the children to ensure the protection of the rights and best interests of the child are followed.  Other work includes support for children and young people in conflict with the law and developing day care services for children and parents.

The respondents' work with children and young people aged between 5-30 years who have been placed in out-of-home care, are neglected or socially marginalized, or living in a poor or risky environment.  The parents and families are included where possible, receiving support in the form of consultations, medical and administrative support.  Mobile social services (e.g. street and community work) are also provided.

Bulgarian members are interested in establishing collaborations with other organizations around the world.  Please contact the FICE office for further details.
