INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF EDUCATIVE COMMUNITIES

The respondents work with children and young people in the foster care system until they are 18, and foster care leavers until they are 21 years of age. A recent project undertaken by the respondent's organization was an Inclusion project for foster children, where they analyzed the extra barriers faced by this group, especially those with specific needs.   Working with a Belgian university, they organized inclusive help for material & guidance and are now looking for partners to analyze the sustainability and help with structural changes for foster and placed children.

In Belgium the most preferred qualifications are Social Assistant DSA or advocate/lawyer.
